Support across South West Sydney

More than showing up

Positive Care Solutions supports people living with psychosocial disability, mental health challenges and complex support needs.

Support can look simple from the outside, but the right kind of support often starts with understanding what is really happening underneath.

That can mean a lot of different things in real life.

It might mean needing support after leaving hospital. It might mean finding a safer place to live after things have become unstable. It might mean working with behaviours of concern, building a routine that actually sticks, or having someone show up consistently enough for trust to form.

We do not rush that part.

Our work is built around steady relationships, clear structure and the kind of support that helps people feel safer, more understood and more in control of their day-to-day life.

Why people choose us

Different support needs a different kind of provider

When someone has complex support needs, the small things matter. The right staff. The right home. The right routine. The right response when a day does not go to plan. At Positive Care Solutions, we pay attention to those details because they are often what makes support feel safer, steadier and more likely to work long term.

We look closely at fit

A SIL placement is not just about having a vacancy. We consider support needs, personalities, routines, risks and household dynamics so participants have a better chance of living somewhere that actually feels workable.

You see familiar faces

Trust is hard to build when support keeps changing. We focus on consistent staffing wherever possible, so participants can build relationships with people who understand their routines, communication style and what helps them feel settled.

We understand complex days

Recovery is not always neat. Some days will be steady, others may need more patience, structure or emotional support. Our team is experienced in psychosocial disability, mental health challenges, behaviours of concern and complex support needs.

We stay connected

Good support does not happen in isolation. We work with participants, families, support coordinators and other stakeholders to keep communication clear, respond quickly and make sure everyone is working towards the same goals.

Our approach

How we support people

Calm, consistent support that starts with the person in front of us.

Our approach is shaped around real people, real experiences and real life. We take the time to understand what has happened, what is happening now, and what kind of support will help someone feel safer, more settled and more in control of their day.

Recovery Focused

Recovery does not always move in a straight line. We support participants to build routines, strengthen daily living skills, reconnect with community and work towards goals at a pace that feels realistic for them.

Trauma Informed

Many participants have lived through experiences that affect trust, confidence and self-esteem. We focus on creating safe, respectful environments where people feel heard, understood and never judged for needing support.

Collaborative Support

Good support works better when everyone is on the same page. We communicate with participants, families, support coordinators and other key people so support feels clear, consistent and connected.

Choice and Control

Participants should have a say in how support works in their own life. We listen, offer practical options and support people to make decisions about their home, routine, goals and community involvement.

It starts with feeling safe

Support built around trust, routine and the right people

For some participants, support does not feel comfortable straight away. There may be past experiences, trauma, anxiety, changes in housing, hospital admissions, behaviours of concern or a long history of people coming in and out of their life.

We understand that trust is built slowly. That is why our team focuses on steady routines, clear communication and support workers who take the time to notice what helps each person feel calm, respected and more in control. Over time, those small moments can make daily life feel less unpredictable and a little easier to manage.
